About Wristcam
- Please check on your iPhone under General > iPhone Storage and click on this to let it load a few seconds
- Next click on the Wristcam app.
- The Wristcam app itself will take about 43.3MB.
- Below that you will see, "Documents & Data" which is possibly much higher and causing the storage impact.
- You can decide to delete the Wristcam content as needed- videos usually take up the most storage.
- If you have large attachments in your message threads, the option to review and deleted them should populate.
- If the option is not populating, per Apple Support, they recommend the following troubleshooting:
Yes, the current Wristcam with its bands will be compatible and fit the new Apple Watch Ultra. As example, for the 49mm Ultra case, the purchaser or user will select the Wristcam in the size 42/44/45mm band.
The bands are also sold separately and can be changed any time as needed, in case someone was prior using the smaller 38/40/41mm Wristcam band.
Wristcam contains components, including radios, that emit electromagnetic fields. Wristcam, and the Power Cable contain magnets. Electromagnetic fields and magnets can cause interference with medical devices, such as pacemakers and defibrillators. Consult your physician and medical device manufacturer for information specific to your medical device and whether you need to maintain a safe distance of separation between your medical device, Wristcam, and the Power Cable. Stop using Wristcam or the Power Cable immediately should you suspect any interference with a medical device.
We recommend to avoid skin irritation, or if you have allergies or skin sensitivities wearing your Wristcam with the right fit—not too tight, not too loose, and with room for your skin to breathe—will keep you comfortable. Also keep you Wristcam—as well as your skin—clean and dry will maximize comfort and prevent long-term damage to the band. This is especially important after workouts or exposure to liquids such as sweat, soap, sunscreen, and lotions that can potentially cause skin irritations.
Finally, please note if you have known allergies or sensitivities to silicone, plastic, nickel or if you have a physical condition that affects your ability to detect heat against the body, take special precautions and consult your physician prior to using Wristcam.
Wristcam records videos and is capable of streaming them live, or storing them for later sharing.
We are looking to create a longer band in the future. Unfortunately it is not yet ready. We apologize for any inconvenience.
We can suggest a short term solution. Some of our consumers have told us they have used the Apple Sport band as it has options for the 40 and 44mm size Watch face and you may select the Extra Long band in the color of your choice. Apple has a return policy in case you see it does not work for your needs. Please check to see what that timeframe is, as it may be 14 days. Here is their sport band on their site.
Any "pin-and-tuck" closure band that has that same design should work fine. You may be able to find less expensive options with some other brands on Amazon as well. Amazon tends to offer a 30 day return policy- but again please check that before making a purchase.
Wristcam is designed to work best in ambient temperatures between 32° and 104° F (0° and 40° C) Charging temperatures between 50° and 113° F (10° and 45° C) and be stored in temperatures between 32° and 104° F (0° and 40° C). Wristcam can be damaged and battery life shortened if stored or operated outside of these temperature ranges.
Avoid exposing Wristcam to dramatic changes in temperature or humidity. If the interior temperature of Wristcam exceeds normal operating temperatures (for example, in a hot car or in direct sunlight for extended periods of time).
Important: Exposing your product to extremely low or high temperatures may result in damage, malfunction, or even explosion. If Wristcam can’t regulate its internal temperature, it goes into Power Reserve or a shutdown mode until it cools. Move Wristcam to a cooler location out of direct sunlight and wait a few minutes before trying to use Wristcam again.
That's a great question and something to review the storage used by all your apps, including Wristcam on your iPhone.
Let's have you check the below
Additionally, Apple Support has a helpful video on how to free up space on a user's iPhone (remove unused apps, Offload app, etc.), please click here.
1. Force close the settings app: Force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
2. Restart your device: Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
3. If the issue is still occurring after those steps, I recommend making a backup before the next steps. You can make a backup in iCloud or iTunes using this article: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support.
Of course please first check with Apple Support regarding your specific iPhone model and for their latest direction on this.
Wristcam retails for $329 USD (+ applicable taxes) for the original edition (with the black or gray band) and $399 for the limited edition Wristcam (with the limited edition, created Sage green band).
The only difference between the two products is the band color as both use the same core hardware. The Sage green band was created in a small limited run so that is why it is more expensive versus the original colors.
The bands can be changed any time as needed to change the color, size or for cleaning.

No, when you receive your Wristcam (bought through our site, Amazon or B&H Photo) if you notice when unboxing your product that the fake watch place holder shows some scratches, our team confirmed the fake watch is getting scratched by the Collector tin box (due to the inside, engraved lid rubbing against it).
We can assure you, your Wristcam is new and not used. We will be moving towards new packaging soon where we will not be including the fake watch placeholder to avoid any confusion.
Wristcam is designed to be stored in temperatures between 32° and 104° F (0° and 40° C).
No. Wristcam is a camera band that attaches to your Apple Watch. It is not a standalone smartwatch; it adds photo and video capabilities to an existing Apple Watch. With Wristcam, you can take photos and videos with a tap of a button.
You should handle Wristcam with care. Wristcam contains sensitive electronic components and can be damaged if dropped, burned, punctured, or crushed. Wristcam may chip or crack if dropped or subjected to forceful impact. Avoid heavy exposure to dust or sand. Don’t use a damaged Wristcam, as it may cause injury.

Wristcam is an accessory for your Apple Watch- so you need to either own the Apple Watch Series 6 and higher for the optimal experience along with an iPhone.
Wristcam will work with Apple Watch Series 3 and higher for all the features.
Please note: If you own an Apple Watch Series 1 or 2, you will be able to some of the features, but not the Watch Preview feature (so the App will not show up on your watchface), or the Video Calling EARLY ACCESS feature since those watch Series are not able to update to watchOS7 or higher. We suggest upgrading to an Apple Watch Series 6 or higher to enjoy all of the Wristcam features and for the best overall performance.
To use Wristcam, you must first pair your device with an iPhone. Wristcam can then be used independently or with the Wristcam companion application installed on your iPhone / Apple Watch device.
Wristcam is the only camera built for Apple Watch. With it you can take videos and photos on the spot, without having to take out your phone. It lets you capture moments as they happen, and share memories quickly and easily.

You may also locate your serial number within the Wristcam app (if you have your Wristcam set up) under Settings > Maintenance & Support > Info > # Serial Number.
Wristcam can be used anywhere your Apple Watch can be used. Feel free to wear it in the rain, during exercise, washing hands, etc. Wristcam is IP67 Compliant. This means that it can be used for shallow-water activities like swimming in a pool or ocean (Up to 1 meter (or 3.3 feet) underwater for up to 30 minutes) but should not be used for scuba diving, water skiing, surfing or other activities involving high-velocity water or submersion below shallow depth.
To use Wristcam, you need to have installed watchOS 7 and greater. Please note, according to Apple Website, any Apple Watch Series 3 or later is compatible with watchOS 7.
Unfortunately Apple Watch Series 1 or 2 is not compatible with watch OS7, therefore you will not be able to use it with Wristcam as you will not be able to use key features like the watch Preview, video calling and video messaging.
Please note the Apple Watch Series 3 and lower uses Bluetooth 4.2. We have upgraded the Wristcam to support Bluetooth 5. What does that mean? A slower connection. Therefore for the Apple Watch Series 3 and lower, you may expect a slower response time from the app from connecting the device to preview.
